Wil je Gent op een heel originele manier (her)ontdekken, dan is deze avondlijke spokenwandeling een dikke aanrader. Lieven, een begeesterende verteller, loodste onze hele familie doorheen schemerige steegjes en over pittoreske bruggetjes van het ene spooky plekje naar het andere en diste soms huiveringwekkende verhalen op. Heel erg genoten van de tocht, de vertellingen en van nachtelijk Gent!
Some interesting stories and anecdotes but I didn’t expect to see an actual ghost. You proved me wrong, my hat off to you, sir!
We boekten deze activiteit voor een vrijgezellenavond. Met een groep van 10 dames luisterden we geboeid naar de vertelkunsten van onze gids Lieven. Hij nam ons mee doorheen de minder bekende geschiedenis van Gent, met enge verhalen en spannende legendes. Een hele geslaagde wandeltocht, met een creepy kantje en de nodige humor. Fijn om de mooie stad Gent ook in donkere hoekjes en oude verhalen te leren kennen! Dank je wel!
We had a fantastic ghost walk on Halloween, guided by Lieven. He was entertaining and informative and my 9 year old niece was especially enthralled! We learned a huge amount about the history of Ghent, as well as its spooky ghosts and demons! Thoroughly recommended. Watch out for ghosts!

Spannende mysteries en verhalen tijdens een fantastische wandeling door het prachtige Gent. Ondanks dat we al redelijk bekend zijn in Gent wist Lieven ons toch te verrassen met bijzondere plekken. Zeker een aanrader!

Together with the guide, kids from 6 till 12 years old will search for ghosts, with the necessary clues to find them. Exciting and thrilling stories at hidden and mysterious spots in the old city centre of Ghent.
Starting location: Friday Market, statue of Jacob Van Artevelde
Duration: approximately 75 minutes
Price: 10 euro each. Groups more than 10 people: 8 euro from 11 th person onwards
When: every second Wednesday of the month, departure hour depends of the period (summer/winter) but can be found on our website and FB page
For schools: possible on other days, appointment necessary!

Let us guide you through the small, cobbled streets of the old city centre, where danger lurks from behind every corner, and defy witches and ghosts, if you dare..
Ghent, medieval city full of stories, myths and sagen. Ghosts still wander around here… Who was Naert Stuyck and is he still in Patershol? Wat happened in the abandoned house behind Saint-Baafs cathedral? Is there still a mysterious tram riding in Ghent and what about the drama in Graffiti Street? Are the stories about Kludde true or is it just a made-up story? We guide you through the old city centre for one hour and a half, and maybe we meet the ghost of knight Jan-Baptist de Roldoan, or maybe we end up in the executioner’s cabinet at Gravensteen Castle…
We present an adult Ghost Walk at least once a month. And for our youngsters till 12 years old, we have our Kids Ghost Walk, every second Wednesday of the month.
